CSA 2025

Update: CSA is officially SOLD OUT for the 2025 season! Thank you so much for your support!

Mark your calendars for this Saturday, January 11th at 8:00 am because CSA signups will go live on this page and Facebook! To ensure high quality boxes, we take a limited number of spots, so make sure to get signed up on time because shares sell out quickly.

What is CSA? CSA stands for Community Shared or Supported Agriculture. This means that the customer shares in or supports their local farmer by paying for a certain amount of produce up front early in the season. This helps us with the large amount of expenses we have in January (seeds, potting soil, fertilizer, tool repair and maintenance, etc.) when we don’t have money coming in from the farm. The customer is then rewarded with the first of the harvest, grown right here on the farm when it is ready- so it is a win-win for the farmer and customer! You can’t get more farm to table than that.

How Our CSA Works: January 11th, I will post a link at the top of this page and on Facebook which will take you to our shop where you can purchase a CSA share. Members pay for the total amount (8 boxes) up front. CSA runs for 8 weeks in the Spring, usually starting in late April. We keep CSA members updated and notified by email as we watch for everything to be ready. When vegetables are ready for harvest, members come to our farm during designated hours, drive right up to our barn, and we bring a box full of fresh veggies grown right on our farm, to your car. You will get a box once a week for a total of 8 weeks.

What Can you Expect in Your Boxes? Because everything in your box is grown here on our farm (you can read about our growing practices here), and CSA is in the Spring in Ohio, you can expect vegetables that grow well in cooler temperatures. You will get a bag of Spring Mix in every box along with other items such as carrots, turnips, radishes, microgreens, broccolini, green onions, sugar snap peas, mini romaine, herbs, spinach, kale, cabbage, kohlrabi, beets, and possibly some early summer surprises in the last few weeks. For example, one box might look like the following- Spring Mix, Spinach, a bunch of carrots, a bunch of radish, microgreens, and broccolini.

*Please note: we are not offering an egg add on for this year’s boxes. We will save eggs so that members have the first chance at buying them that week when they pick up their boxes. We do expect to have a good amount of eggs for you to purchase when you pick up your box, just like last year.

How Much Does a Share Cost? CSA Shares this year are a one time payment of $225 total. This gets you 8 weeks of veggie boxes directly from our farm before we officially open our market for the season.
